This document certifies that, in the opinion of the specialists at Geographicus Rare Antique Maps LLC, the item described above is an authentic antique, produced on or about the date attributed and by the maker(s) indicated.
Conservation
This piece may have undergone conservation treatment intended to stabilize and preserve the paper. Such work may include washing; reinforcement of structurally weak areas using acid-free, reversible materials; rebacking or re-margining; and the repair of minor tears or defects. In certain cases, later hand-color may be present. Please refer to the item description above for details.
Guarantee
Geographicus Rare Antique Maps fully guarantees the authenticity of all maps and prints offered through our website. Should the authenticity of this item be credibly challenged, it may be returned for a full refund of the purchase price, provided that:
- The item is returned in its original, as-purchased condition; and
- The claim is supported by two written statements, on professional letterhead, from recognized authorities in the field (including established dealers, museum curators, conservators, or research librarians), attesting that the item is not authentic and explaining the basis for that determination.
Refunds are limited to the original purchase price and do not include shipping, customs duties, or associated return costs.
