Barrière, Daniel Alexandre François
Daniel Alexandre François Barrière (October 22, 1792 - c. 1865), generally known as Alexis or Alexandre Barrière, was a 19th-century French playwright, engraver, and song writer. He was bornin Paris, the son of Pierre Barrière (1764 - c. 1827), known as 'Père Barrière', and the brother of Pierre II Barrière (June 7, 1789 - 18??), both of whom were also engravers.
