Petrus Laicksteen (fl. 1556-1566) was a Dutch astronomer and traveler; virtually nothing is known of him, except that in the mid sixteenth century he traveled to the Holy Land and that his report of that journey informed Christan Sgrothen's 1570 wall map of Palestine (copied by Ortelius) and Sgrothen's plan of ancient and modern Jerusalem (copied by Braun and Hogenberg.)
