Francis Michelin (fl. 1830 - 1860) was a Boston and New York based lithographer and viewmaker active in the middle part of the 19th century. Michelin was an apprentice to Charles Hullmandel of Boston. Graduating from his apprenticeship he partnered with William Sharp in 1840 to establish a firm in Boston. He relocated to New York in 1844, where he is credited with introducing chromolithography.
