Robert John Philpott (September 25, 1906 - April 29, 1991) was an American real estate agent and retired Army officer. Philpott enlisted in the U.S. Army on March 3, 1941 and served until October 1, 1954, as a colonel. During his time in the Army, Philpott served as the Infantry Instructor for the 211th Infantry of the Florida National Guard, as the public information officer with the United Nations Civil Assistance command in Korea during the Korean War, and, during World War II, commanded a group of soldiers referred to as the 'Imperial Guard' in Hawaii in 1942 and 1943. We have been unable to unearth any details about the 'Imperial Guard'. Around 1958 Philpott created Realtyrama, a real estate business in Marathon, Florida. It is unclear if he closed the business or sold it after he retired.
