Maxwell Revenson (January 2, 1926 - November 2, 1966) was a graphic artist and humorist active in New York during the second half of the 20th century. Revenson was from the Midwood section of Brooklyn, New York. He was recognized early for his artistic talent and enrolled in the New York High School for Music and Art. He then completed his undergraduate studies at Columbia University before serving in the U.S. Air Force during World War II (1939 - 1945). After the war, he enrolled in the Yale MFA program (1951). Revenson was an editor of both the Yale Record and the Yale Literary Magazine. He married Joyce Blitman (1931 - 2020) in 1951, a few months before being awarded his MFA. During his MFA studies, he produced a pictorial map of Yale with Herbert Brook (1909 - 1994) while still a student (1950). He also composed artwork for the Patty Duke Game, issued in 1963. He died unexpectedly in 1966 of a heart attack.
