Rikugun Heigakuryō (陸軍兵學寮, Imperial Army Academy; 1871 - 1945) was an academy designed to train officers for the Imperial Japanese Army, akin to West Point in the United States. It went through several slight name changes in its early years, but was in essence a product of the Meiji Restoration, as Japan sought to mimic and localize the best practices of Western governments and militaries.
