Emile John D'Souza (February 1, 1862 - 1896) was a surveyor active with the Bureau of the Surveyor General in Singapore, and the Singapore Branch of the Royal Asiatic Society. D'Souza was born in Malacca, the son of Tertulian Jorge D'Souza (1822 - 1889) and Clare Marian Labouchere D'Lille (1838 - 1910). In the 1870s he was placed in charge of compiling the first comprehensive large scale map of the Malay Peninsula. D'Souza died young, he was just 34, of unknown causes.
