Varga, Imre (c. 1875 - 1964)

Imre Varga (c. 1875 - 1964) was a Hungarian artist active in the early 20th century. Varga is an elusive figure but is responsible for an important Hungarian Serio-Comic map issued at the outset of World War I (1914 - 1918). Part of the difficulty in researching Varga is the unrelated but much more famous sculptor of the same name who lived from 1923 - 2019. The only compounds the fact that name itself is common.
