Philippa Threlfall (October 1939 - present) is a British illustrator and ceramicist known for intricate murals, many produced in tandem with her husband Kennedy Collings (1933 - 2002). Threlfall studied at the Cardiff College of Art and went on to teach at Goldsmiths College London after graduation. She then taught at the North London Collegiate School and began producing murals. In 1967, she relocated to Wells in Somerset, where she and Collings set up a terracotta shop named the Black Dog (still in operation, recently relocated to Bath). While operating this business, Threlfall also devoted herself to other projects, especially murals, which were commissioned for an extensive list of both public and private buildings. In time, she became one of the U.K.'s most celebrated modern ceramicists and muralists.
