Edward Carl Weber (1815 - September 22, 1848) was a German-American printer, lithographer, and engraver based in Baltimore, Maryland, in the mid-19th century. Weber was born in Germany and migrated to the United States in 1835, settling in Baltimore. Within a short time, Weber established himself as an accomplished lithographer, setting up a print and engraving shop on North Gay Street, then from 1839 to Market and Light Streets. The explorer and army officer John C. Frémont hired Weber to produce multiple maps from his famous expeditions to the American West. He traded as 'Edward Webber and Co.', 'E. Weber and Co.', and 'E. W. and Co.' Weber died in 1848, but his company persisted in Baltimore until at least the 1920s.
