Hockin, W. R. C.

W. R. C. Hockin (fl. c. 1909 - 1952) was a British resident in Bristol. Little information on his life is available, aside from being called for temporary service in the Naval Ordnance in World War I (1914 - 1818) and later positions as an executive in organizations dedicated to road construction and quarrying of roadstones. According to newspaper records, he also was an avid tennis and badminton player. As a cartographer, his only known work is a 1909 manuscript map of New Zealand.
