This is David Schiller and Jim Michaelson's (Sparta Graphics) 1967 view map of New York City. It is one of only 3 city-views produced in this style, the others being San Francisco and London. It is also the only view in this series printed in fluorescent ink for blacklight viewing. These maps remain iconic examples of 1960s 'Filmore' design.A Closer Look

Publication History and Census
This view was drawn by Jim Michaelson, printed by Sparta Graphics, and published by David Schiller. This is the first issue. A second issue was printed in 1970, printed in black on a yellow background. It is among, if not the scarcest, of Schiller's city views. Schiller and Michaelson produced just 16 posters, only 3 of which are city views.Cartographers
