Orman L. Jernigan (1872 - March 23, 1951) was an American book and stationery dealer. Jernigan lived his entire life in Atlanta, Georgia and was one of the founders, along with John M. Aldredge, of the Lester Book and Stationery Company, located at at 70 North Broad Street. The company was one of the largest book and stationery dealers in the American South. Their showroom at 70 North Broad Street featured an attractive showroom that highlighted all their products. A large table separated the room into two aisles and offered their newest products. Jernigan also purchased the Cole Book and Art Company during his lifetime. He spent fifty years as a bookseller. He married Myrta Vann (1878 - 1965) on May 19, 1897, with whom he had two sons.
