Suzuki Shigeyuki (鈴木茂行)
Suzuki Shigeyuki (鈴木茂行; fl. c. 1896 - 1903) was a Meiji era cartographer based in Tokyo who mostly worked on maps of the Tokyo region, and also edited an 1895 map of Taiwan.

This is a very rare 1895 Suzuki Shigeyuki Map of Taiwan, made as the Japanese military was in the process of conquering the island. Its most obvious distinguishing characteristic is that the map is meant to be rotated, Japanese style, with important information appearing both horizontally and vertically. (more details)
