Description

This is a 1926 window card movie poster celebrating the rerelease of the 1912 Francis Ford silent film Custer's Last Fight. Rereleased to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Battle of Little Bighorn, the 1926 release included more introductory scenes than the 1912 release. The Battle of Little Bighorn, which took place on June 25-26, 1876, was fought between the Lakota, Northern Cheyenne, and Arapaho tribes and the 7th Cavalry Regiment of the United States Army. It was the largest battle fought during the Great Sioux War of 1876.

This window card was printed by Hurd of Harvey in Iowa and published in 1926.
