This map was created and published by the Florida Attractions Association c. 1978. We note at least one earlier edition, published c. 1975 with different photographs. Two examples of the c. 1975 edition are cataloged in OCLC as part of the institutional collections at the New York Public Library and the Library of Congress. The Florida Attractions Association (1949 - Present) is a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to guaranteeing quality, fair pricing, and ethical operational practices throughout Florida's tourist attraction industry. Founded by several Florida attractions, including Cypress Gardens, Monkey Jungle, Parrot Jungle, and Silver Springs, today the Florida Attractions Association now numbers over 120 member attractions that range from major theme parks to zoos and aquariums, sightseeing tours, museums, and historical landmarks. Membership in the Association is very prestigious and member organizations commit to a Code of Practices that ensures hospitality, courtesy, integrity, and cleanliness. Further Details...
