Description
An uncommon promotional road map of Florida, c. 1920. This map was issued by Halifax Building Supply of Daytona Beach to promote its representation of Carey Asfaltslate Singles - apparently used on the famous González–Alvarez House in St. Augustine, 'The Oldest House,' in the United States. While the road map itself is fairly standard, the old red titling and presentation of the González–Alvarez House adds a great deal of charm to the overall image.

The map is undated, but we have tentatively dated it to the 1920s based upon limited records of the Halifax Building Supply Company. The map is based on SRD (Florida State Road Department) Surveys.Condition
Very good. A few minor verso reinforcements along old fold lines.
