Humerous pictorial map of Manhattan intended as a gentleman's guide to New York City.
A charming 1946 pictorial map of New York City, or more specifically Manhattan, drawn by Paul Savitt for True, the Man's Magazine. The map humorously illustrates all of the fun a savvy gentleman can have visiting New York City - from swinging Harlem nightspots, to fine dining, to cashing in on the Stock Market, and a visit to 52nd or 'Swing Street'. The map features a numerical key identifying some 77 Manhattan hotspots including theaters, gentleman's clubs, nightclubs, sourest sites, cafes, and restaurants. Scarce.Condition
