Description

This is a stunning 1932 highly graphic pictorial map of Wisconsin prepared by Nina S. Bahlman and copyrighted to her husband Erwin F. Bahlmann. The map covers the entire state in rich pictorial detail, identifying historical locations throughout the state in Tolkienesque pictorial detail. The present example bears an imprint related to the Hunter Tractor and Machinery Company, 327 South 16th Street, Milwaukee, Wisconsin. We are aware of a later edition issued in 1937 by the Milwaukee Sentinel. Of the authors, Nina and Erwin Bahlman(n) we have been able to isolate no further details.
