An charming map of the city which hosts the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

This is an 1882 J. S. Morse city map or plan of Cleveland, Ohio. Situated on the shores of Lake Erie, this map radiates out from the city center 5.5 miles. Myriad streets are labeled, along with the harbor and canal. The city's streetcar network (noted here as street railways) is illustrated through red overprinting. Red overprinting is also used to label the city's wards and circles illustrating distances from the center of town in half-mile intervals. The New York, Pennsylvania, and Ohio Railroad is illustrated, along with the Lake Shore and Michigan Southern Railroad which parallels Lake Erie. A street index is included along the right border, with the streets listed in alphabetical order from A to Z. Along the bottom border, lists of police stations, hospitals, hook and ladder companies, cemeteries, and auditoriums are present.

This map was produced by J. S. Morse and printed by W. J. Morgan and Company Lithographers in Cleveland in 1882.
