  1988 (dated)     20.5 x 27.5 in (52.07 x 69.85 cm)

Description

This is a 1988 Linda Ayriss and Brian Ladner literary map of the American Southeast. Coverage extends from Harper's Ferry, West Virginia, south as far as central Florida. Eighty locations associated with regional literature are numerically labeled. Among these are the homes of authors and where works were set. The index along the right border lists authors alphabetically, including Truman Capote, Hellen Keller, Flannery O'Connor, Mark Twain, Harriet Beecher Stowe, and others.
A Wonderful Series of Literary Maps
Aaron Blake Publishers published a series of literary maps in the mid to late 1980s. Some focused on cities (such as New York, Paris, and Los Angeles), some on authors (Ernest Hemingway, Ian Fleming, Jane Austen), and others on regions (the American South, Latin America). Every map in the series is visually striking and would be a great addition to any bibliophile's collection.
