Description
This is a 1975 Rabochiy Publishing pictorial city plan or map of Moscow, Russia. Centered on the Kremlin, numerous buildings throughout the city are illustrated in profile. St. Basil's Cathedral, the Bolshoi Theatre, the Cathedral of Christ the Savior, the Kotelnicheskaya Embankment Building, and the State Historical Museum are among these famous sites. Pictorial symbols mark museums and exhibitions, theaters and concert halls, cinemas, monuments, 'wedding palaces', hotels, and athletic facilities. Red circles with the letter 'M' inscribed in them highlight Moscow's many subway stations. In all, 421 locations throughout central Moscow are numerically identified and correspond with an index on the verso.
