A highly decorative 1920 map of Rome by Augusto Trabacchi. This map is a combination of a traditional street plan and a topographical map. For the developed urban center of Rome, streets are named and blocks are shaded orange. Parks are also noted. For surrounding undeveloped regions, the map turns into a topographical map, illustrating the hills and valleys surrounding Rome.
This map was designed by Augusto Trabacchi who is famous for another map of Rome in which the monuments are drawn in profile. It was published by Antonio Vallardi and Casetti and Company. It was engraved by Gilardi of Milan.
Very good. Minor wear along original fold lines. Folds into original paper binder.
