1969 Namco Publishing City Plan or Map of Tampa, Florida

This is a 1969 Namco Publishing Company city plan or map of Tampa, Florida. Depicting from Lake Charles south to MacDill Air Force Base and from Sheldon Road to Clair Mel. Highways and major city streets are highlighted in red, allowing for easy identification of the major thoroughfares. A light pink hue marks Tampa proper, with all areas outside the city limits illustrated in white. An alphabetical index of Florida's counties appears in the upper left with population and the county seat.

Verso Content

Three maps are printed on the verso. One in the upper left details downtown Tampa. The downtown Tampa office of the Tampa Federal Savings and Loan Association is marked with an arrow and a star. A larger map of the vicinity of Tampa Bay occupies the upper right corner. This map illustrates from Pasco County south to Littles Bird Key off St. Petersburg and includes both Tampa and Clearwater. The largest map on the verso focuses on Hillsborough County and depicts from Old Tampa Bay to Plant City. A highly detailed alphabetical Tampa index occupies most of the verso.
