Description
This is a rare c. 1925 Republic of China era map of Beijing, China. The map covers the old walled city of Beijing as well as the Forbidden City. It was published in Beijing around 1925 by the Beijing Xidan Archway Weinan Construction Library (北平西單牌樓迤南建設圖書館). The map was popular and issued in many editions, of which this may be the first, as it lacks an edition statement and is slightly larger than some later editions.
Condition
Very good. Some offsetting and wear on original fold lines.
