Description
A rare 1938 or Showa 13 photographic representation of the Bund in Shanghai, China, as seen from Pudong. Folds into a postcard case - see image. Issued by the Japanese one year after seizing Shanghai in the 1937 Sino-Japanese War. Important buildings are labeled in Chinese. Smaller photos and Chinese / Japanese text ton Verso. Asian style Art Deco binder.
Condition
Very good condition. Some wear on original fold lines.
