Landmarks throughout the city are illustrated with streets and squares labeled. 105 locations across the city are numbered and correspond with an index on the verso. Hotels, monuments, museums, movie theaters, and stores rank among these locations. The zoo, botanical garden, and planetarium are also identified.

Publication History and Census

This map was created for and published in the Armenia Traveler's Encyclopedia (Армения Энциклопедия путешественника) in 1990. The encyclopedia is well represented in institutional collections, but the separate map is uncatalogued. Both the atlas and the separate map are scarce on the private market.
